Well, I haven't written/posted lately because there's not much to say. I guess I can mention the pregnancy progress.
Ever since the ultrasound, I've felt the baby every day. It's awesome! I really love knowing that she's alive and well. I keep reaching for Malcom's hand to have him feel, but he can't feel her yet. I can't wait to share it with him because it's so neat to feel her moving inside. I've heard others describe it as butterflies, but I don't feel it like that at all! It feels to me like a muscle twitch inside, after having worked out really hard. You can't tell it's coming and you can only barely tell that you felt it in the first place.
We also began looking at all the baby stuff last week. Yikes! There's so much to see and buy. I'm grateful for baby showers and generous friends/family because I don't see how anyone can do this without help. We have some favorites in mind when it comes to strollers and high chairs, and the clothes aren't hard to pick out at all. I am still asking for advice on things like cribs, diaper brands, parenting books, etc. Plus, I'm sure there is a lot of stuff at the store (Babies R Us) that is completely unnecessary, but they try to sell you anyway. Well, I'm sure we'll figure it out sooner or later.
Malcom is doing well also. He's getting excited about his graduation, but a little upset that no one's offered him a job yet. We keep praying and feel very comfortable that the Lord will take care of us, but it is hard to sit and be patient. In the meantime, he's got lots of little jobs here and there and makes some income with them, so that really helps.
So, as you can see, all is good and happy here. Thanks for checking in!
