I guess there could be worse things than life being a little boring. But honestly, nothing is new since the last time you heard from us. But in case you were wondering, we are still alive.
Malcom is super busy, as always. I really look forward to the "someday" future when he will work normal hours and not be getting his Master's degree at the same time. What will that be like?! He is also a counselor in the Young Men's presidency, and he started teaching a film production class at a university (he's taught the same one for the last few semesters).
We celebrated our EIGHTH anniversary last weekend too. We went to dinner at P.F.Changs and really lingered there, a small luxury I appreciate more after having a child. Then we wandered around Burbank and just relaxed and window-shopped. We can't believe it's been eight years--seems like such a long time.
I'm still subbing and tutoring and keeping the house clean. My favorite days are days when I don't have to do any of that and I get to hang with Bekah, work out when I want to, read and do crafts. Those are few and far between, but that's okay. I'm very blessed to have this time with her.
Bekah is at the age where she's talking more every day, so much that I can't keep a list of words or new phrases she says. My personal favorites are "bella" for umbrella, "honch" for orange, and when she calls Malcom "Ma-com" instead of daddy. We hope to give her a sibling this year at some point--no announcement yet, just planning and hoping. :)
Now I have to apologize for this sounding like some kind of Christmas family letter. I just wanted to give an update. I don't even have some clever conclusion here at the end, that's how boring and blah I am today.
The end.

I totally understand about the always busy husband issue. Oh well, someday, it better be worth it.
