Come see the new place!

Here is a photo tour of the new apartment. DISCLAIMER: I am not a photographer and I do not know how to stage a space for photographs. I took photos at different times of the day, on different days, in different lighting conditions. This is the best I can do with my limited skills, people, so just don't look at anything too closely. :)

When you walk in the front door, you'll see the entire front room, dining area and kitchen:

To the left is the living room (TV and couch):

To the right of the bookshelf, you can also see the hall door; that leads to the bathrooms and bedrooms which are definitely not ready for viewing!

When you walk past the couch, on the right you'll see my beautiful blue desk in its own little nook:

Further along that wall is the dining area with our favorite painting:

Directly across from that (looking to your left) is the hutch:

Keep walking and you'll be in the kitchen. Two views here, one with the curtains open, and one closed (because I love the curtains so much!):

And finally, if you turn around and stand by the hall door, you'll see this other view of the living room:

...which will sometimes be accompanied by a small child and her daddy vegging on the couch:

That's the new apartment. Well, the front half of it anyway. I was motivated to get the living area done because I had people over for book club on Saturday night. I did that on purpose to MAKE me get it done. I'm so glad I did! Now, when I feel up to it, I can work on the master bedroom which currently consists of a bed and lots of boxes. But at least I can close the door on it when I don't want to see the mess and come out to the loveliness in the front room. :)
