We went to Mesa for Christmas. I don't have any pictures of Christmas Eve with the little kids doing the nativity, Christmas Day with all the presents, or Bekah playing with her cousins! I just didn't get the camera out enough. I managed to capture Bekah wearing her and Jacob's stockings and one of them together wearing their Christmas pajamas. I'll try to do better next year!
We were so happy to have Jacob's blessing there, on December 26th. Much of my family and Malcom's family was there and it was a very special event.
Handsome boy, all dressed up.
The men who stood in the circle to give Jacob's blessing: Jason Reid, Gary Reid, Dad Reid, Malcom + Jacob, Dad Sanders and Ky Sanders.
Three generations of Sanders men.
The blessing was really great; I don't want to put all the details on here (I will write them in Jacob's journal). But I will say that he was blessed with everything a mom could hope for.
Here are pictures of our big guy today:
He's gotten really chunky lately, filling out his cheeks and thighs. He is smiling so much now and it's my favorite thing to make silly noises and faces at him to get a big, toothless grin. He is a good boy, very mellow most of the time and happy to just be around. He's actually enduring his first cold this week, but I'm sure we'll get through it quickly. Bekah still loves him "too much" at times, smothering his face with kisses, trying to share her toys, and even covering his face with blankets to play peek-a-boo. Yikes--we're working on that!

He's so very precious! I love chubby babies! Glad to hear you had a good Christmas
I'm so glad we got the chance to see all of you. Both of your children are so sweet and cute.
My goodness, those cheeks are irresistible. He's changing so much ALREADY! I find myself annoying and ridiculous in even saying this, but I think those newest pictures REALLY REALLY look like Uncle Andrew!
