...and another quilt

I finished this quilt last weekend while Holly was here:

It's very small, measuring 30" x 42"; it was supposed to be a "lap quilt" but it's even smaller than a typical baby quilt. I'm okay with that though. I bought the fabric because I love it and it matches the front room, and I just threw the strips together into blocks. Super easy and fast--my kind of quilt!

And the back is all once piece, again, very easy.

The poor little thing doesn't have a name yet... although, I'm not some kind of highly-paid, famous quilter, so maybe she doesn't have to have one... but I'll take suggestions if you can think of something. :p  As always, I learned new things about quilting, so I'm happy with the experience and the end product.

Now on to the next quilt, a pink and brown one for Staci & Andrew's little girl, due in November. Yay for babies, and yay for new quilts to work on!!

Fabulous fabrics! Yay! Love all those pictures of the kids :) Jacob has morphed exactly into a brunette Bekah - unbelievable.

Love the quilt! I just bought fabric for a new quilt, Can I send it to you so you can make the quilt? I don't have a pattern so you can do anything you want, J/K, maybe. If you don't have fabric for a quilt for Andrew and Staci's baby, the fabric I have is pinks, blacks and white. Let me know if you would like to take me up on that offer.
