Well, it's official: Brooke is off American Idol. She had a great run and made it to the top 5, but she just didn't get enough votes to stay in. She sang so well, especially last night, especially on "I Am, I Said."
I really think this is the best thing for her. She is unique, genuine and vibrant and people really see that. I honestly think that she'll go on to do even bigger and better things than if she had won. She is just such a great singer/songwriter, and without the pressure and nerves of Idol, I think she'll do really well.
I hope you enjoyed following her journey as much as I did. I'll continue to update her life from a "behind-the-scenes" view. I'm sure she won't cut my hair anymore, but at least I'll see her at church!

Darn you!!! I saw this post before I had a chance to watch the results tonight. Oh well. Be sure to tell Brooke how many crazy fans she has back here in AZ. We wish her much luck!
We all love Brooke so much, she reaches out to us through her Television set and makes us love her! So real. BTW<---did you see the pictures on my blog of her with the flowers from the Bandwagon?

It was very sad and unfair to see Brook go. I guess America had to leave Jason in there so that they could have a good laugh again. I wish Brook a lot of happy success as she moves on.
