First we went to PF Changs for dinner. If you haven't ever been, I highly recommend it. Especially the great wall of chocolate cake for dessert. Mmmmmm...

We also the the new Chronicles of Narnia movie. It was SO GOOD! It was entertaining, visually stunning, and good for the whole family. I would personally give it a PG-13 rating instead of PG because there are a lot of battle scenes; very little blood, but battle and killing just the same. I was pleasantly surprised that it still had religious elements, not as overt as the first one, more general; good vs. evil, faith in the face of trials, and "one with God is a majority." Very good movie.

Then we found a DSW shoe outlet and I enjoyed exploring. I often find their shoes a little too pricey, a casualty of always buying my shoes at Payless and Target. But I found these ones to my liking and in my price range so I snatched 'em up. I must say that Mudd is quickly becoming my new favorite brand because all of their shoes are super cute.

I hope you are all enjoying the stimulus money too, even if just to pay bills or fill up your cars (yikes!).

I LOVE the shoes. I like to spend money just for fun! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Very cute shoes! Glad you found our blog...I have sent your blog address as well as Jason and Gary's to my girls who all blog. Hopefully you can drop in on all of us regularly. Love ya!
Congrats on the shoes. My kind of way to spend money. I wish we would hurry up and get our check.
Our stimulus check is being spent in more practical ways: new tires for Steve's car, new rotors for Steve's car, new glasses for Steve and Kellen, new contacts for me. But we've also taken more opportunities to eat out lately. I'm still deciding whether that's a good thing or not; we have the money but it's bad when I'm trying to lose a few pounds!
I agree with you on the movie, very good! While I don't really do the "shoe scene" I like seeing what other people choose.
That cake looks to die for!!!! My mouth was watering just looking at it. I love your shoes too. I hope you had a good birthday. Our check is going towards a year supply. If we hadn't slacked off for 5 and a half years we could spend it on something fun!
Way to stimulate the economy! I'm glad you got to get out and just enjoy it. Though we will be using our practially, like you mention at the end of the post, we're really happy to have it, too!
