Craft Night

On Friday, I hosted a craft night and it was a smashing success. I had everyone bring crafting supplies (fabric, paper, patterns, ribbons, etc) that they were no longer using. We spread out all the goodies on three tables.

Then everyone got to "shop." We took things that would help us finish a particular project, or just stuff that looked inspiring.

One of the most coveted items was a container full of Christmas cookie cutters. Four of us women wanted it, so we decided to divvy it up. We sat in a circle and each took turns taking two cookie cutters until we had all we wanted. Funny what you get excited about, huh?!

I ended up with some fabric, two patterns, some sticky foam paper, a few of the cookie cutters, and lots of project inspiration.

We also did a quick craft (fabric flowers), ate treats, and talked. The last guests left at midnight and I was one happy hostess!

That sounds like a lot of fun. I think I need to do the same thing.
