... it's a BOY! We just found out this afternoon and we're pretty excited. It's all gonna feel new with this one, I'm pretty sure. I'm anticipating lots of rowdiness and broken bones, and most likely less drama in the emotions department. But we'll see!
Here is a profile shot:
The technician told us that he has a "beautiful spine" which is exactly the same thing Bekah's technician told us at her ultrasound! She clarified that she meant that most babies curl up and they can't get good pictures of the spine, but my baby was all stretched out and perfect for pictures and measuring.
She couldn't tell us all the results (my OB is supposed to do that), but she did mention that everything looked "good." She showed us the brain, heart, kidneys, legs, feet, and hands. I was happy to see that our boy seems healthy.
Afterward, I made Malcom take me to Target to buy a new outfit for the babe.
Just some onesies, no big deal really, but they were really cute and so TINY that I couldn't resist!
No name(s) picked out, in case you're wondering. We had Jackson picked out a few years ago, but now we're both feeling neutral about that one. I hope we can find something we both really like because "settling" on a name doesn't seem like a good enough start!
I looked back at Bekah's ultrasound pictures and it seems like such a long time ago. I can't believe we're starting this all over again--not in a bad way, but in a "holy crap, here we go," excited way!

Congratulations again!!! Can't wait to hear more!
GO BOYS!!! Love those onesies, btw.
Hooray! A new little boy to love.
AH! I'm so HAPPY! Rachel and I were saying that we wanted it to be a boy and it was funny because we cared more than you did what gender the baby was. All the same, I'm so excited! I can't wait to meet him. :)
