SHORT ANSWER: Really well. Bekah is really successful and seems to totally understand what is expected of her.
If you don't want any more gory details than that, you can stop reading now!
LONG ANSWER: We're on day 5 and Bekah is a pro! On day one, three accidents. Day two, one accident. Days three and four, NO accidents! Day five, one accident. She's wearing only panties during the day (no pull-ups) and keeping them dry most of the time.
Today, she went potty 7 times and for each of those times she told me that she had to go. Even at church--she told the nursery leader she had to go potty and they quickly found me (two doors down in Primary) and we went potty. We were at a friend's house for Father's Day dinner tonight and she initiated potty time there too. We were there when she had the accident, and she came right up to me and told me as soon as it had happened. Such a good girl!!!!
She poops in the potty too (here are the gory details I warned you about!). She cried through it the first time, but now she just does what she needs to. She's in pull-ups at night, but she has woken up dry every morning, so we'll stop using those as soon as we get back from vacation in AZ.
I think her success is partly due to her love of rewards. She has understood the "do this, get that" concept for a long time and she's really motivated when it's something she wants. She gets a sticker for every time she sits on the potty and tries, a candy for every time she pees, and a toy (dollar store type) for every time she poops.
Here's her sticker poster after five days:
We go to the potty a lot around here!!!
I'm a little concerned that our vacation might set her back a little; we have a long drive, but I'll take lots of breaks. And she won't be in her own home. But if today's trips to church and the friend's house were any indication, all I have to do is take the potty seat with me, show her where the potty is when we first get there, and she'll remember to tell me. Even so, I'll keep reminding her to go every 30 to 60 minutes and I will just expect some accidents. She may be a "pro" but she's still only two!

poop! poop! its not fair! David still can't poop in the potty and he is almost 4. i'm glad things are going well for you. she sounds smart.
When I potty-trained Shaun, we went to Disneyland the week after I had started training him. I was really worried about how it would affect him, but when all was said and done, I think it HELPED him! I remember how grossed out Jason was though when I brought the little kid potty in the trunk for the drive down. Every time we'd stop for him to use it, I'd empty it out by the side of the road and clean it out with a wipie and Jason would almost puke! LOL But hey, it worked! :)
