Apron Progress
Inspired by the one I received, I've made significant progress on the apron I'm making for the swap. I have sewed on the pocket band, the pocket, and the ruffle. That was my first ruffle, by the way, and it was a big one. It was a huge time investment for me because I agonized over making the gathers "perfectly" even throughout the length of the apron, but I'm very pleased with how it turned out, especially for my first ruffle. All I have left to do is the waistband/ties, then I'll get it in the mail by Saturday. I technically have until Monday, but I wanted to give myself an earlier deadline so that I'm not the very last one to send it out! Besides, once I got started, I found that I just didn't want to put the project down, just like a good book!

both those aprons are cute! I really like the one you made, actually. I really need to broaden my sewing skills from just simple repairs and do something fun and creative like that!
I really like that apron. You have done a good job on it. I did find my apron pattern and I have an apron cut out, now I hope I can get it sewn and mailed by Monday!
Way cute idea and very cute aprons.
I adore my apron! You did such a great job. You should be very proud of yourself. Doing the apron swap was a blast, my apron I made was my first time doing on also.
Once again...
Thank you I love it!
