New Things

NEW APRON: I have finished another apron. When I bought the material for the apron swap, I thought it was so cute that I'd want one for myself. I bought enough fabric to make a second one and here it is. I love full aprons because when I cook, bake or clean, all the mess lands on my stomach/chest instead of my lap; maybe that means I'm doing it wrong. :P

NEW SKILL: Rebekah has begun climbing. I know this doesn't happen for a lot of kids until after they've learned to walk, but Bekah is pretty adventurous and tenacious about getting to where she wants to go. Here she has climbed into her car seat in an attempt to reach the chair. What a monkey!

NEW CAR: On Sunday, Bekah spent some time playing with Jason, a toddler boy in the ward. He had cars and she really enjoyed playing with them. She even threw one at him and he liked it; I guess they were flirting! When we went to Target yesterday, Malcom picked out a few cars for her. He is excited to make sure Bekah is not too girly of a girl.

Lots of great new stuff! I love the apron (again) and it's so cute that Beckah likes the cars, too. Climbing, on the other hand, is cute but a trial as well. Good luck!

That apron looks fantastic!

Are you giving Bekah magic hair-growing pills?

I LOVE the apron! My girls fight for Bradlee's cars all the time, but they are still girly. When Bradlee saw the picture of Bekah with a car he said "WOW, she is that old now". I thought it was funny because I was thinking the same thing. Good luck with the climbing.

Did you know that your baby's nose is orange? In like, every picture. My theory is that her real father was a snowman....which begs the question, how does one hook up with a snowman in California? And does Malcom know?!
Also, I miss my daughter-of-a-snowman niece...so send that baby my way!

I love the apron! I'm like you-- I can't cook (or eat) without getting stuff all over me. I have to wear the full aprons, too.
