I am getting so excited to leave for New York in three days. I still have lots to do: cleaning, grocery shopping, informing Malcom about Bekah's schedule, and packing. I have been studying maps of Manhattan, especially the subway. It's amazing how little I really know about that place. I had no idea Central Park is that huge, Wall Street is kinda far away, and there is so much water around. I hope those revelations don't make me sound too ignorant, I just haven't had any reason to study NYC before now.
Some of our plans: seeing Wicked on Broadway, doing a sight-seeing bus tour, shopping in Chinatown, eating everything "New York," and buying cheap purses. We'll try not to freeze--the weather calls for some rain this weekend. I'll be sure to post lots of photos when I get back.
