So we've been house hunting for over three months now and I'm emotionally exhausted. We've only put offers on three places, but each of them has been taken by someone with just a little more money than us. The last one that got taken was our absolute favorite and it was depressing to find out that we didn't get it after two weeks of hoping and praying.
Malcom's been getting really sick and tired of the graveyard shift lately and we think it's time for a change. He's going to work on polishing his demo reel, then start looking for a new job. He's going to get something good, something big, something that replaces the FOUR other jobs he has now and just have ONE for a change. Well, that's the plan anyway. But the bottom line is that we'll move just about anywhere that he can get a good job. If that means Maine, we'll be there will bells and thick coats on.
So we'll be pausing on the home search until we find WHERE we should be searching. It makes more sense to find the job first, then find a house in that area. Besides, since we keep getting out-bid, maybe finding a new place to look will be good. If the San Fernando Valley doesn't want our hard-earned pre-qualification, we'll go to an area that does!

Heck, Drew's Moving to Texas, Let's ALL move to Texas :) Mark wants a change too, if we can move away from this house we might just go somewhere else. I think its wise of you to look everywhere for work, in this day and age where we can keep in contact online so easily.
ARIZONA!!! He needs to look in Arizona!!!
I think you guys are smart to consider moving. California is a volatile place to live, economy wise. When you open up your mind to new possibilities, you will be amazed at how far you can go.
Though I want to know how seriously you are looking at jobs in MAINE. Yea right :)
