Easter Eggs

I am excited that Bekah is old enough to do fun little holiday projects. She can't do too much on her own of course, but it's still plenty of fun. Besides, when every day seems the same, even a little 10-minute diversion from the norm is welcome.

First, I set up the table to get ready.

I let Bekah help by putting the eggs in the colored water, then taking them out and putting them in the carton to dry.

She also had fun just playing with the dye that spilled on the table.

And here's what Mommy did with them after they dried. I've had these Hello Kitty egg decorations for a few years and was so happy to finally use them. So cute!!

Finally, a picture of Bekah's Easter basket, all ready for Saturday's egg hunt with friends over at the Bunce's house. Since I'm trying to lose weight, I've only allowed the essential treats this year: M&M's, Starburst jelly beans (the only kind worth eating!) and peeps.
Hope your plans and family traditions are going well too. :)
