Just a quick house hunting update. We went out and viewed four more places today. Two were okay and two were downright scary. We realized that we keep comparing everything we see to one of the first ones we saw last week. Our realtor calls it a "home run" because it's so nice and in a REALLY nice complex.
We've decided that we'll continue to hold that one up as the standard and if we don't find anything else that compares, we'll go for it. There are at least six other properties that we're interested in seeing, and we'll view them next week. Hopefully we'll find OUR place soon. It's getting exciting to picture ourselves in a new place. Even though everything we look at has some drawbacks and is not our "ideal" home, it will still be our home and that is so much better than renting this place!
