My New Office

I've been working on a project for a month now and I'm finally ready to let people see it. A few months ago, when Laura & James moved away, they let me take a computer desk off their hands. I'd been wanting one for my laptop instead of using the already-too-small dining room table. I have loved using it and have lately gotten into improving it. Painting it, putting up shelves, adding a few accessories, and organizing my crap has made a big difference.

So I know it's not "oh my gosh, put that in a magazine" pretty, but I love the color and it really feels like my own little space now.

In the process, I took advantage of feeling crafty and repurposed an old bulletin board into a jewelry organizer. It helped me justify the purchase of a new bulletin board. :)


Anyway, I'll have to find a new home-improvement project to obsess over or a book to read now that this desk is done. But maybe I'll relax and enjoy the scenery for a bit longer first...
