Okay, friends and family. I've heard from a few of you recently that I've been remiss in my blog-writing duties. I'll do better. I'm sorry.
So here's a basic update:
MALCOM is still working the graveyard at Technicolor. But brighter things may be ahead...! (More on that in a future post if/when anything happens.) He recently got a new video game (Red Faction, if anyone cares) and loves it so much more than Halo, at least for now. He missed me a lot while I was in AZ--mostly because he ate like a bachelor and had to clean up after himself!
LINDSEY had a great time in AZ, especially at the Sanders Family Reunion. Good times! I did other things too: ate at a new In-N-Out with Mom, made an apron for Bekah, ate at Claim Jumper with Jason, watched Juno with Karlie, ate at Barro's Pizza with the Reid fam, saw Gary & Holly's new house (horray for them!), ate at Chick-Fil-A with Mom, finished one book (Pride & Prejudice & Zombies) and started another (The Time Traveler's Wife), ate at Subway with Amy, stayed up late talking with Holly, and ate at Karlie's house. Not in that order. Needless to say I'll need to hit the diet and exercise routine with a vengence this week to make up for my superfluous restaurant visits. Summer is almsot over and I'll be starting the substitute circuit again soon.
REBEKAH had a good time in AZ too, although she was pretty shy around all the family. She was clingy and said "Mommy, Mommy, Mommy" all day. She reminded Aunt Holly why she doesn't want to have kids yet! We're really looking forward to her second birthday next month (September 13th). We'll be taking her to The Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach because she is obsessed with fish and all things related to Finding Nemo.
That's us in a nutshell. I'll try to get some more of our vacation photos on here soon.

My mom really liked the book, The Time Traveler's wife. She said they did a really good job with the movie. I enjoyed the movie. I'm sure you will enjoy the book.
