On Saturday, our friends had a Harvest Party. They invited everyone to stuff our faces and decorate pumpkins.
Here is the spread of fabulous food. If the location looks familiar, it's where we had Bekah's first birthday, Malcom's grad party, and pretty much every other celebration of note in the last five years! Picture is courtesy of Holly, that's why it looks so much cooler and more artistic than the usual stuff on here. Holly and I decided to do a gingerbread haunted house instead of carving pumpkins. The pictures on the box looked so cute and fabulous, but it was MUCH harder than it looked. It came with all the candy, and we had to mix the bags of frosting with water to make the mortar.

We used soup cans to prop up the sides, and then decorated the best we could.

It was taking forever, so I finished at home during General Conference on Sunday instead. Here's the finished product:
I'm pretty happy with it! At least I have one more decoration in the house to remind me that it's October.

I love your cute little side walk. Good job!
That is really cute! I always love doing those, but I usually get far too frustrated at the painstaking detail, so mine never look that good! :-)
