Giving Thanks, Day 4

I am so thankful to live in this great country. Today I voted for candidates and propositions in one of the most historically important elections in the United States. What a blessing it is that we can cast a ballot stating our opinions/beliefs and it means something. I know a lot of you may be disappointed with tonight's results, but none of us should be upset. No matter what, this country is still filled with many great people doing incredible things. We individually have the power to shape our little spot of the world and make effectual change for good. This is God's country, the place that He has blessed with wonderful freedoms and opportunities. I was told once that living in America is like winning the lottery--the odds of living here are slight, and the payoff is remarkable. I love the USA and all that it means.
