Giving Thanks, Day 5

I'm thankful for my job. I am substituting this year and it's turned out to be great. I love that I get to go in only once or twice a week, whenever I feel like it, and only if I don't have other plans. I get to fill in for my friends--so far, the only people that have called me are my colleagues and I love it that way. I know them and their quirks, and they know that I'll actually teach their lesson plans! It's pretty easy to go into a room, be in charge in 55-minute increments, and get the kids to work on their worksheets or reading. I'm making enough money monthly to make it worth it, but not putting in so many hours that I'm missing quality time with Rebekah and Malcom. I am very glad that my college education has served me so well; at this rate, I may actually be still working when my loans are all paid off! :D
